Technology Crossover Extravaganza Terms
Content Availability
The virtual conference on Device Packaging will feature content produced in the following methods:
- Live
Live content is broadcast in real-time from the speaker to the attendee at a date and time specified in the final program. Live programming will be made available on-demand after conclusion of the live broadcast until the end of the event archive period.
- Simulive
Pre-recorded content is broadcast from the speaker to the attendee at a date and time specified in the final program. Simulive programming will be made available on-demand after the conclusion of the simulive broadcast until the end of the event archive period.
- On-Demand
Pre-recorded content is broadcast from the speaker to the attendee at the control of the attendee. On-demand content will be made
available to attendees upon the opening of the virtual conference until the end of the event archive period.
Registrants are responsible for the consumption of content on their own schedule. IMAPS will not issue full or partial refunds to registrants on the basis of partial consumption.
Technical Failure
It is the responsibility of the registrant to confirm system requirements and test their computers prior to the start of each virtual session. If a technical failure is the fault of the service provider and the session is not able to be broadcast as planned after two hours, IMAPS reserves the right to reschedule the session. A recording of the session will be available for future reference.Published Broadcast Times
All published broadcast times are based on the Eastern Daylight time zone.
Abuse of Registration
Each attendee registration grants a single license for access to the live and on-demand content for the named registrant only. The login credentials are not to be shared, distributed, or viewed by multiple attendees. If a second or multiple users would like to join, they must register and log in with their unique credentials in order to participate.
Abuse of Content
The 2021 Technology Crossover Extravaganza (HiTEC, CICMT, APEPS) is composed of content shared in live, simu-live, and on-demand formats. Content that is deemed sharable, such as presentation slides, abstracts, documents, or exhibitor material, will be provided to the registered attendee either within the virtual event platform or in the form of a downloadable folder. Attendees agree not to capture screenshots or manipulate the virtual platform to access restricted content.
Conduct
Attendees are expected to conduct themselves professionally at all conference functions, including but not limited to networking functions, exhibitor interactions, Question and Answer (Q&A) sessions, poster sessions, and the like. Event organizers reserve the right to remove access without refunds to any participant who is deemed by the organizers to be violating professional courtesies.Cancellations, Transfer, and Refund Policies
Registration fees for the conference, professional development courses, or any other paid access content are nonrefundable.
Cancellations will not be refunded under any circumstances. However, an attendee may transfer registration for the symposium and/or any applicable Professional Development Courses to another prospective attendee at any point prior to April 15, 2021 with proper written notification provided to IMAPS. Transfers will not be permitted after the virtual event has opened on April 26, 2021. To request a transfer, please notify IMAPS at info@imaps.org.
Special Note About PDCs:
PDC courses are subject to cancellation by event organizers at any point prior to the start of the course. If a course is cancelled, registrants will be given the option for either a full refund or a transfer to another available course. The PDCs will be completely virtual. Phyiscal copies of materials will not be provided.
Data Collection and Sharing
IMAPS collects data during the registration process that is shared to other registered attendees in order to facilitate networking and collaboration. This personal data is shared via a pre- and post-symposium registration list in the form of a PDF file. Data collected can include, but is not limited to, full name, organization, title, email address, city, state, country and postal code. Phone numbers and street addresses will not be shared.
IMAPS does not sell your information or share your registrant information outside the bounds of conference attendees.
