Everett High School Students

IMAPS provides a STEM outreach program, inviting local high school club students to our Symposiums and Conferences.  This year, local Everett High School students were able to gain insight into technology, future academic and career paths, and explore the exhibit floor to talk with companies and universities.  The Microelectronics Foundation also presented a donation to the school to support their robotics and STEM clubs. The students provided some great feedback:

"I was inspired by the brilliant women presenting their work there. Since I'm the only girl in my robotics class I was really inspired by that."

"I didn't know that there were small pixels that are tiny dots that make up the screen of the phone."

"I got to look at really cool microelectronics that will be the future of technology."

"I learned about the possibility of liquid circuitry."

Student Award Winners

We were thrilled to have the two most recent IMAPS Student Award winners at Symposium 2024.  Emma Pawliczak (2024 winner) chaired a technical session and presented a poster.  Nicole Wongk (2023 winner) worked with the visiting high school students in the exhibit hall.
